I received my Bachelors Degree major in English and minor in Mathematics at Silliman University, Dumaguete City, Philippines and have taught English and Math courses in both Secondary and College levels. I retired as a Secondary School Principal in Dumaguete Science High School, a school for the gifted. Since I came to the United States in 2004, I have been tutoring privately for four years here in my city at Fort Worth, TX.

My students learn best if I start with a short review on the concepts with which they have had difficulty. Then I follow up with more detailed explanations of basic methods and steps one specific skill at a time. On-Line work is usually returned within 24 hours, with suggestions for study. The student is always encouraged to ask questions, either by chat or by e-mail.

Follow-up or reinforcement exercises could be sent as an attached document in my email. The written work reinforces the student’s learning because they can always refer to the printed page if they need to recall some important concepts they have missed.
